The New Year

I promised myself I'd do an update soon, so here it is! Happy New Year!

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years, just spent time at home and with family. We also dealt with some nasty flu's and colds, but thankfully everyone is nearly better now! Praise God!

Isn't it amazing when you feel God working in your life? That warm fuzzy feeling? Haha ;) Seriously though, I've been a believer since I was a little girl, but it's almost as if it didn't hit me until recently, until the past 18 months or so. We've made a lot of changes. God has opened my eyes and heart so much, and our entire family has grown closer to him. I am so proud of my husband. He's made some wonderful friends at Church and it's great. These men have been such a blessing in his life. He has grown so much and I am just so happy and proud. I really hope I can find more friends soon. It would be so nice.

Well, speaking of God leading us, we may have a new home soon!!!! :) We found a house right after Christmas and it's been so stressful trying to work it all out, but after a lot of negotiating and paper signing, we are in Escrow! We are thrilled about it. It's a small house on a very busy street, but we're compromising because I believe this is what God wants for us. We love the new house, but we're trying not to get too attached because there is still so much that needs to happen for this to work out. We're all crossing our fingers and praying. My Realtor says she's never seen the agents work together like this, and it's crazy how it's all working out. My God is working miracles! I pray he continues to make paths for us, the buyer of our home, and the seller of our new home.

Other than that, not much is going on. Dan is working a lot which is good because we need the extra money from handing over all that cash to the escrow account for the new house.
We're planning to drive up to my Grandparent's house this weekend, out in this sweet little rural town. It will be fun for us since we don't do things like this very often. Isabella is turning 3 years old later this month! We're gonna do something small for her birthday. She is just so excited to have cupcakes. Haha bless her little heart.

My Goals for 2014
+Become closer to God
+Spend more time with my husband and children
+Be Patient
+Find Joy in the Lord, every day
+Get rid of Anger
+Make friends
And so many other things! But it's all related to just getting closer to God and becoming a better mother.

I'm trying to watch 19 Kids and Counting right now, so I'm a little distracted writing this! Haha.
I'll try to update again soon.
